Is It Dishwasher Safe?
Of Course! Our knife is designed to facilitate easy cleaning, allowing you to clean any part of the knife as needed. While the magnets in our handle are resilient to dishwasher heat, we recommend hand washing to preserve the knife's optimal condition.
what makes our knives unique?
The handle mimics the natural position of the user’s hands to encourage them to hold the knife correctly intuitively. The curves on top of the handle have a forward direction that leads the user to the pinch guard area while they guide the user through where to put their fingers. The goal of this new handle design is to make the user understand how to use the knife correctly without any effort and keep the learning process short. Also, increase their comfort. Since it is not a conventional design, it adds a new level of confidence to use a knife for a beginner. In addition, the whole design shows movement which would be expected from a chef’s knife and all curves represent agility.
What is the pinch technique?
The Pinch technique is a knife-handling technique taught in culinary school and used in professional settings. You grip the blade, between your thumb and index finger, just before the bolster or handle. Confused? No worries, our pinch guard encourages consumers to use the proper knife technique, the ‘pinch technique.’ Not only is the pinch technique safer but it is also quicker and more efficient. It also holds the blade in place and ensures safety with the inner mechanism that connects to the handle and keeps the knife together. It has an extended V-shape and merges with the handle, so the user’s fingers do not come in contact with the blade itself. It has an indentation on both sides for the thumb to be placed for comfort, that also makes it suitable for left-sided or right-sided hands.
why customize?
Unlike conventional kitchen knife options where acquiring a new knife entails purchasing an entirely new product, our modular approach allows customers to simply purchase a new blade from our collection and integrate it with their existing handle.
Consider this scenario: You wish to gift our knife set to recent graduates who are embarking on their first shared living experience in a new apartment. Each roommate receives their own personalized knife kit, complete with handles in their preferred color. Should their culinary needs evolve or vary, they can effortlessly update their knife collection by acquiring additional blades from our diverse range, promoting sustainability and minimizing environmental impact.
